Times are changing, or they have changed. What worked for your parent's generation likely doesn’t work now. What we thought of as work has changed in the last 3 years.
COVID has undoubtedly changed how companies, businesses, and even you look at your job. It could be working remotely from home for a worldwide company or a hybrid style of in-office and at-home schedule.
While yes, many layoffs have happened in early 2023 due to the expected expectations of the coming economy. What we thought of work is different from several years ago.
More opportunities exist now than ever. Kids are developing apps and creating life-changing technologies.
You can make millions on social media by being an “influencer.”
While the jobs are endless and the landscape has changed, one thing is certain.
You need to make more money than ever before!
With inflation happening like crazy, what bought you your essentials 2 years ago won’t do it now.
You need money to buy food, pay rent, and occasionally have fun.
You need a job and career that puts green stuff in your pocket.
Today I wanted to do a different style post and give you a list of jobs that pay over 100K per year.
Six Figures a year may sound like a lot to some of you, but it barely pays the bills for others.
If you’re in an in-demand busy city, costs are higher than ever.
Real estate has gone up and up, and everything is costly, leaving you with little left over.
Earning over 100K a year is doable, especially in today’s day and age.
Kids and teens are making north of seven and eight figures creating videos on YouTube and TikTok. It’s mindblowing.
As you can see, there are many different industries, career paths, and jobs where you can earn well over $100,000.
Some of the jobs listed will earn in more of the $250,000 + range.
Of course, the sky is the limit if you own your own business and are doing well.
There are virtually no caps on your earning potential.
You should understand that while these jobs are guidelines for earning over $100K, there are most definitely people working in some fields making sub $100K.
For example, if I look up the average earnings of an AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer) around Vancouver, BC, a career I’m very experienced in, Google displays $68,598.
While this is accurate for the average, people are making WAY more than this. There are also people making less…
So, know your industry, prices, pay structure, and value you bring to the company. Negotiate upon hiring (if you have the experience and skills) and work for what you’re worth.
It took me a while to crack the six-figure mark, but when I did, it felt amazing.
There will always be people in every industry cashing in while others struggle.
