Habits have been critical in building the life that I live today. A habit is a regular tendency or practice. These small tasks really do have the power to change your life forever.
Success is chased by so many, yet why do so many people fail to achieve it?
Small things (habits) done over time (consistently) will make or break your progress. It’s not about becoming an overnight success (myth) or making one decision that will change your life as you know it.
Habits are the key to success. Doing the RIGHT habits at the RIGHT time will be your superpower.
High achievers in the world always fall back on world-class habits. These are habits that are powerful for personal growth each and every day. Stop believing in some miracle choice in your life that will change everything - you must be willing to make a change yourself.
While my top 3 habits life-changing habits for success may seem simple - they are.
They may seem to be already known by you - they probably are.
But, if you can commit to doing these habits consistently five to seven days a week, you will no doubt create a huge shift in your life down the road. Ready to find out my top 3 habits? Here we go.
Exercise really is the foundation for anyone living a happy, healthy, and successful life.
Exercising daily can be a tough habit to build - but once you create the routine in your life you will yield the best rewards you can get.
A better life goes hand in hand with exercising. The commitment is to carry out five hours a week (five days x one-hour sessions). Five hours really isn’t that much time to dedicate to the bettering of your health and life, is it?
There are 168 hours in a week (seven days). All I ask is you take five of those hours and put them towards the most important habit of them all - exercise.
Five hours is less than 3% of the total time in your week!! 3%...
If you think exercising for five hours a week is too much just look at the math. This is merely a minute investment that will have added so many great benefits to your life.
Not only will you look better from daily exercise but you will feel better, make better decisions, have more energy, be more positive, live longer, and eat better.
There are many different forms of exercise out there. You don’t have to be a gym rat to get into shape. Figure out what you like doing and makes you sweat / increases your heart rate.
If you want the simplest way I know to dial in the habit of exercise be sure to pick up my book Optimal Health. I go over simple yet effective 9-steps to achieving your Optimal Health once and for all. I wrote this book after training for over 15 years straight. It has all the valuable insights you will ever need to build the habit of daily exercise.
I want to be clear with this habit from the get-go - it’s not only reading books I want to focus on here, rather reading any material that will help you LEARN.
Reading is a powerhouse habit that successful people all over the globe do each and every day. Whether you want to consume material from an audiobook, read something on a Kindle, or have a hard copy in your hand doesn’t matter.
Reading every day will give you a hunger to never stop learning and investing in yourself (the absolute best investment you will ever make).
Successful people have a constant yearning to learn more. The more they learn about a specific field of interest the more they can apply it to their own lives.
I’ve read well over 200 + books now and can tell you I don’t regret a single second of it. Books and learning material contain knowledge from people who have already done what you’re trying to do - experts in every and any field.
If you can commit to reading for at least 30 minutes seven times a week you will grow faster than ever before. This is a total commitment of 3.5 hours a week or about 2% of your weekly hours.
Let’s be honest 2% of your week is almost nothing… This should be an easy task and habit to build. Set a time, set a place, and have the material you want to read ready - each and every day.
While I’m giving you basic times to build these life-changing habits into your routine, feel free to experiment with what works for YOU. Start small and grow the habit month after month. Don’t try and be a hero and read for seven hours a week right from the get-go if you haven’t opened a book in a decade.
These habits' goal is to BUILD the habit into your life. If you can do one habit consistently for 5 minutes you will be able to do it for 30 minutes - in time.

I don’t know if it’s the darkness, quietness, peacefulness, or calm about the morning that makes it so special.
Rising early is done by billionaires and titans all over the world. The habit of waking up early separates the doers from the excuse-makers.
Waking up at 5:00 a.m. can give you an edge over the competition to think, or the necessary time for self-reflection.
While I’m not going to give you an exact time to rise every day I suggest a minimum of 2.5 hours before you have to go to work or have any real responsibilities.
Therefore if you work at 9:00 a.m. waking at 6:30 a.m. minimum would be a great starting point. Yes, we all have different obligations in the morning. Whether it’s getting the family ready or doing things around the house that need to be done.
If you already rise early and still don’t have time for yourself I have a simple solution to offer - wake up earlier.
I do agree and preach that sleep is an important key to living a healthy and successful life. The truth is most people oversleep or aren’t getting the proper deep sleep they require - thus still waking up tired and groggy.
If you want some key tactics to better sleep then be sure to read my book Optimal Health as previously mentioned. I go into more detail about ways to promote better (and deeper) sleep.
The habit of rising early can be used to your advantage in any way possible. While I recommend doing a few things to start your day off on the right foot such as a short meditation, planning your day, reviewing your goals, and expressing gratitude.
You can add or eliminate key tasks you want to get done each morning - the key is to follow a routine daily. By following a routine you will stay more consistent and see more results. Doing the same thing day after day may sound boring - but that’s what works.
The formula doesn’t need to be convoluted and confusing. Small habits have the power to change your life forever.
Stick to the basics and focus on one day at a time.
